Crochet 201

Do you know how to chain and make a single crochet stitch and you're ready for more? Or maybe you just completed our Crochet 101 class and want to move to the next level. Join us for this level 2 crochet class with Michelle. 

Sessions are held each month -- select the date that works for you.

Note: Our crochet classes are taught by a right-handed teacher, so left-handed crocheters should be comfortable with learning by mirror imaging the techniques.

Class Level

Completed our Crochet 101 class and/or you already know how to make a chain and work single crochet stitches.

Class Content

• Reading stitches
• Using turning chains
• Placement of first/last stitches and counting
• Slip stitch (sl st), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), and treble crochet (tr) stitches
• Changing colors
• Basic pattern reading
• Weaving in ends
• Free dishcloth pattern: Just A Pinch Dishcloth - Free Pattern

Materials

Please bring the following OR students can enjoy 10% off if you purchase your materials at the shop. (Please be sure to shop early so we can begin the class on time.)

• Worsted weight yarn -- light, solid colors are easier to see and work with.
• Crochet hook size 5mm or 6mm

Class Policy

To receive a refund, a class cancellation must be made prior to 72 hours of the start time. To transfer or cancel your registration, you must contact High Tide Fibers before 72 hours from the start time.

Classes may be canceled or rescheduled for insufficient registration. In that event, you will be offered a refund or the option to transfer to another class of equal value.
