Hi, I’m Theresa! I live in Rehoboth Beach and boy do I love to knit (and crochet, and weave, and spin). My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was just a kid, and though I didn’t keep up with it back then, I later rediscovered just how satisfying it is to make something with your hands and build your own hand-made wardrobe.

These crafts can be anything you want them to be – relaxing, challenging, purposeful, a creative outlet, a fun hobby, or a meditative practice. And you truly can make anything – clothing, homegoods, pet clothes, wall art, gifts. (My very first project was a hand-knit bikini!)  

If you see me out and about, I often have a project with me. (Did I mention knitting and crocheting, even spinning, are portable?) And just about every time I knit in public someone says to me, “I’ve always wanted to learn to do that!” It gives me so much joy to teach others. I’ve taught children, adults, and worked with women in recovery to help them learn a new skill and healthy habit. 

High Tide Fibers is where I can share my passion, connect with other makers, inspire newbies, and offer products that I know you will just love. Thank you for supporting my small independent business and I hope to meet you soon!
