Skill Class: Special Stitches

One of the great things about crochet is that there are so many ways to use texture and build garments. But you may not know how to make a bobble or post stitch. Or you want to neaten up your stitches and learn techniques that are tried and true. That's where we come in!

Taught by Michelle, students will learn fun and functional crochet stitches that often come up in patterns:

• Front Post and Back Post stitches
• Front Loop and Back Loop techniques
• Bobble stiches
• Popcorn stitches
• Puff stitches
• Clusters and ruffle stitches
• Bead stitches

Class Level

Beyond beginner - intermediate. Students should already be comfortable with basic crochet stitches: chaining, single crochet, double crochet. Students must be 14 and older to enroll.  

Materials

• Worsted weight, light colored yarn
• 5 or 6mm crochet hook

Note: Our crochet classes are taught by a right-handed teacher, so left-handed crocheters should be comfortable with learning by mirror imaging the techniques.

Class Policy

To receive a refund, a class cancellation must be made prior to 72 hours of the start time. To transfer or cancel your registration, you must contact High Tide Fibers before 72 hours from the start time.

Classes may be canceled or rescheduled for insufficient registration. In that event, you will be offered a refund or the option to transfer to another class of equal value.
