Description
Making Tracks from Junction Fiber Mill is a variegated blend of fine Merino, Targhee, and Corriedale wool from flocks in Idaho to western South Dakota. Scoured and combed at Chargeurs in South Carolina. Made in small batches, it is hand-dyed, pin-drafted, spun, and finished at the Junction Fiber Mill in Vermont. Proudly 100% American-grown and produced, this non-superwashed, non-mulesed yarn pairs beautifully with solid colors -- we love it paired with Vovó for stunning colorwork. It can also be used on its own for gradual color shifts.

Why we love Junction Fiber Mill
Nestled in the heart of White River Junction, Vermont, Junction Fiber Mill is more than just a mill – it's a community of fiber enthusiasts dedicated to creating high-quality, breed-specific yarns. It all began in 2021 with two friends and sheep farmers, Amanda and Peggy, who came together over a shared passion for fiber. Today, Junction Fiber Mill has grown into a talented team of people with a goal of crafting beautiful, sustainable yarns.
It's not just the unique colorways that we love, but their commitment to supporting American wool growers is key.
