Crochet Your Own Beach Bag This Summer!

The Sand Dollar Beach Bag by Merri Purdy is the perfect little catchall when you're collecting shells or need to throw a few things together for an afternoon on the beach.

Worked in DK weight yarn, you can crochet it up in just a few hours during our class. Makes a great vacation souvenir, too!

Taught by Michelle, students will learn the basics of constructing a crocheted accessory. 

Note: Our crochet classes are taught by a right-handed teacher, so left-handed crocheters should be comfortable with learning by mirror imaging the techniques.

Class Level

Intermediate. Students must be 14 and older to enroll.

Materials

Please purchase the pattern and yarn before your class. We are happy to help you find your materials -- stop in or give us a call! Students can purchase materials for this class at the shop and enjoy a 10% discount.

• 275 yards of DK weight yarn with a G (4mm) crochet hook
• (This project can also be worked in worsted weight yarn for a larger bag with a 5mm or 6mm crochet hook)

Class Policy

To receive a refund, a class cancellation must be made prior to 72 hours of the start time. To transfer or cancel your registration, you must contact High Tide Fibers before 72 hours from the start time.

Classes may be canceled or rescheduled for insufficient registration. In that event, you will be offered a refund or the option to transfer to another class of equal value.
