Bio Balance from BC Garn is a sport weight blend of wool and cotton in beautiful heathered colors. The combination of wool and cotton creates a versatile yarn perfect for all manner of projects. This yarn is great for knitting and crocheting baby garments as well as accessories and pullovers for adults.
GOTS certification requires that all stages of the production are ecologically, environmentally, and ethically sustainable from start to finish. The growing conditions, dye processes, waste water treatment, and fair and ethical working conditions must meet GOTS standards. GOTS is the only internationally recognized organic certification.
The raw wool comes from mulesing-free farms in South America. The cotton is grown in Turkey, where the yarn is spun, too.
